So how do you teach kids to wipe their butt?

The process of potty training is essentially a process of teaching personal hygiene and educating about privacy.

As part of the process, we teach children that their needs are done in private, in the bathroom or restroom. We teach them the steps:

To take off their clothes,

To do their needs (standing or sitting),

To wipe their vulva/penis and buttocks,

To throw the tissues and wipes into the trash bin,

To flush the toilet, get dressed,

And wash their hands.

One way to assist and ease the learning process is to tell children a story accompanied by illustrations.

And you, dear parents, are always asking me for book recommendations.

Here is a link to the book "Once Upon a Potty" written and illustrated by Alona Frankel.

A lovely story you’ll enjoy reading to the kids.

And if you’re just at the preparation stage for potty training, you must check out the digital lecture "Potty Training Preparation Course," where you’ll receive all the tools for proper, effective, and pleasant training.
