Dear Mom, on this Women's Day, I want to remind you: A good mom is a mom who feels good – in body and soul.

For our children, we do everything.


We take care of them, schedule doctor appointments, consult with professionals, and pay attention to every little detail – to ensure they are healthy, happy, and well cared for.


But what about us?


We also need to remember to take care of ourselves.


To care for our physical health – go for checkups, consult when needed, stay fit, eat well, and rest.


To care for our mental health – take moments of quiet, find time for things that fulfill us, talk to someone when it's hard, and remember that we are important too.


Think of it like the instructions on an airplane:


The flight attendant always explains – first, put on your own oxygen mask, and only then help others.


Why? Because if you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to help anyone else.


And this is true in life as well.


When you take care of yourself, you’re not just doing good for you – you’re doing good for your children too.


When you’re healthy in body and mind, you can truly be there for them.


When you’re strong, happy, and full of energy, you can give them everything they need – from a whole and balanced place.


And this isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity.


Taking care of yourself isn’t “pampering” or “selfishness.”

It’s a responsibility.


It’s your way of ensuring that you can continue to be the mom you want to be – strong, present, supportive, and loving.


As Audrey Hepburn said:


“To have beautiful eyes, look for the good in others. To have beautiful lips, speak only kind words. And to be stable, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”


So, on this Women’s Day, I invite you to stop and ask yourself:


When was the last time you took care of yourself?


When was the last time you scheduled a doctor’s appointment, went for a walk, or simply took a moment to breathe?


When was the last time you did something for your soul – a hobby, a class, or even a good conversation with a friend?


Remember: A mom who feels good – is a better mom.


And it’s not just for you – it’s for your children too.


Because when you take care of yourself, you show them what a strong woman looks like, one who respects herself and her health.


You teach them an important life lesson – how to take care of themselves, how to set boundaries, and how to love themselves.


As Oprah Winfrey said:


“The greatest thing you can do for yourself is to believe in yourself. When you do that, you inspire others to believe in themselves.”


So today, give yourself this gift.


Take care of yourself – body and soul.


Because you are important.

Because you are worthy.

Because you are an amazing mom.
