Welcome to the world of Ilana Kahane – a place where every child receives the support and guidance they need to succeed in their studies and in life.
I am Ilana Kahane, a parenting coach specializing in ADHD, a teacher of adapted teaching, a child and youth coach, and a lecturer on various parenting topics.
A little about me
I am a mother of three amazing boys, who were diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. My personal experience as a parent has taught me that children behave in ways that challenge us when they don’t have the tools to express their difficulties and deal with the challenges the world presents them. I know and feel that it is precisely when our children behave the worst for us – that is when they need our love the most.
After years of running a private daycare for elementary school children, I turned to studying parent training in the emotional intelligence approach, and specialized in counseling for weaning and dealing with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In addition, I specialized and am also engaged in adapted teaching using the Thinking Tree method, in which I focus on adapting the learning process to the unique needs and skills of each child. I believe that every child can succeed when they receive the right tools and the appropriate support.
As part of my commitment to parents and children, I also lecture on various parenting topics, including limits to parental authority, dealing with tantrums, sibling fights, and preparing for weaning from diapers. The combination of these areas allows me to provide a broad response to the family, train the attention and inclusion muscles that sometimes weaken, and provide tools that will allow children and their parents to become stronger and fulfill their dreams – together and individually.
My vision is to create a supportive and empowering environment where every child can realize their potential. I strive to be a source of knowledge and guidance for parents and children, and to help them deal with life's challenges in a positive and beneficial way. I believe that through tailored education, emotional support and practical tools, the quality of life of children and families can be improved and a better future can be created.
What do I offer?
Parental counseling and guidance specializing in ADHD : I offer guidance to parents of children with ADHD, with the aim of helping them understand the challenges the child faces and providing them with practical tools for support.
Tailored teaching : I focus on adapting the learning process to each child's unique needs and skills, to ensure that each child receives the support necessary for their success.
Psychodidactic Diagnostic Analysis : I provide a psychodidactic diagnostic analysis service, in which I help parents understand the diagnosis they received for their children, and help transform the information into practical strategies and tools.
Integrative coaching : I coach children and youth with an integrative approach, focused on empowering the child and strengthening their self-confidence.
Lectures for parents : I offer lectures and workshops for parents on various parenting topics, aimed at providing practical tools and strengthening the bond with their children.
